With over 20 years of experience in the senior living sector, Kieffer offers a track record of success with both large companies and local startups across the country. “I’m elated to join New Perspective for many reasons,” noted Kieffer. “Its reputation is stronger than it’s ever been, and there’s a lot of positive buzz surrounding the company. This key role allows me an opportunity to work in a culture of collaboration, as well as work with one of my former mentors, Chris Hyatt.”

Hyatt, who joined New Perspective as an Investor, Partner & Chief Operating Officer in January of 2017, worked with Kieffer about 10 years ago. Originally from Minneapolis, Kieffer spent the first seven years of his profession working in the Atlanta area as a community level Sales Director, Executive Director and Regional Director of Sales with Hyatt at Emeritus Senior Living. In 2008, Kieffer moved back to Minneapolis and over the past decade continued to grow his personal brand in both resident and patient care organizations. Most recently, Kieffer held the position of Vice President, Sales with Lifesprk.

“I’ve watched David’s career take off and I’m looking forward to working with him again,” stated Hyatt. “I am confident he will align culturally, while enhancing our sales and business development platform. He’s an excellent addition to the New Perspective team and I look forward to reuniting.”

Kieffer received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a minor in Gerontology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and holds an Executive Certificate in the Sales and Marketing of Seniors Housing & Care from the Erickson School of Aging, University of Maryland Baltimore Campus (UMBC).

“David joins New Perspective at an ideal time and with more than 20 years of experience serving the senior living sector,” commented Ryan Novacyzk, New Perspective Senior Living President and CFO. “David will be an important player as we pursue our goal of serving 10,000 seniors by 2025.”
