Here’s another fun burger recipe to add to your repertoire!
Michael Nagovan, Culinary Services Director at New Perspective North Shore, shared a fun burger recipe—the Senior Surf & Turf Burger. This burger is easy to make and has a unique flavor!
What you’ll need (the below creates one burger):
- Brioche bun
- Ground meat of your choice
- Two strips of bacon
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- Shrimp tempura
- Horseradish mayo
- Sliced tomatoes
- Leaf lettuce
Next, cook the meat and bacon as you typically would—either pan fried or grilled. One minute before the burger has completed cooking, add the slice of cheddar cheese to the top of the patty so that the cheese can melt.
Toast your brioche bun, place the patty on it and add all of your toppings. This recipe is great if you have leftover shrimp tempura and want a fun way to finish it!
